The stakes for Public Education in this Presidential Election are extremely high…Our children and our schools have been shortchanged since the “No Child Left Behind Act” of the nineties…
Thanks to President Obama signing and putting into law… the passage of Elementary and Secondary Education Act, ESEA, ESSAElementary and Secondary Education Act, ESEA, ESSAv….We now have a wonderful opportunity to mandate more resources be spent on our Public Education…How I hope that our voters realize all children deserve a strong education
With the demands and fewer resources “Today” …Society’s politics has impacted families thus affecting our children…children are now coming in to school less prepared…More of our children live in poverty and have emotional and physical issues… …And we teachers with all our creative talents have such unrealistic demands…Our classrooms are micromanaged and we are being assessed on how proficient we are…We educators have always felt being accountable is extremely essential…Children deserve the best… However we are not being assessed fairly due to the limits placed on with testing and collecting data… Many teach in overcrowded classrooms and fewer resources at our disposal….
With the passage of ….The Every Child Succeeds Act, no child will be left behind…
If we can vote for the candidate who will facilitate Government to prioritize all our children, and their right to a strong Public Education…2016…

Perhaps the argument now has become are charter schools actually “public” when they take public money and yet have private management — management not responsive to parent/teacher input?

Thank you for your comment…Yes, those monies impact funding for our public schools… Our children that rely soley on a public education need all the necessary resources to provide them a strong public education…Those children in poverty…
